Creating a Private Site Secured via MyAccess
Often we're asked how to create a private site. Sometimes this is for a group intranet or some other private space on the web.
Here are the steps to set it up.
- Enable MyAccess Sign On
- Turn off Anonymous role permissions to the site at http://mysite.ucsf.edu/admin/people/permissions. (substitute your sites URL for mysite).
The following fields allow Anonymous access by default- View Comments
- View files
- Use the Comments text format
- View published content
- Access the PDF version
- Access the printer-friendly page
- Use search
- Access the Send by email functionality
- Set up SmartLinks
