This year we celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) virtually. This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital (web, software, mobile, etc.) access/inclusion for the one billion people who have different abilities. While people may be interested in the topic, the reality is that they often do not know how or where to start. Awareness comes first.
Become more aware about digital accessibility and celebrate the right of every individual to enjoy equal access to the Internet.
Members of the UCSF Digital Accessibility Advisory Committee in partnership with consultant Marc Sutton invite you to attend this year's GAAD to promote some of our efforts at UCSF.
