Friendly Error Pages

When you create a private site you will likely want a more friendly page than "access denied".

The best way to do this is to turn on the custom errors module and configure it. You can see what this looks like at http://iris-help.ucsf.edu

Smart Login/Logout Links

Need to add a login/logout link to your site, but don’t like the Drupal login block? If you’re using Drupal 7 at all, this page is for you! A simple link is often much more appealing and discrete, and doing it right will ensure that it says “Log in” for unauthenticated users and “Log out” for users who have signed in. We’ll also show how to use tools that make “smart” links, that do their best to return you to the page you were on when you clicked the login/logout button.

Enabling MyAccess sign-on

Using MyAccess is a great way to handle user provisioning on a UCSF website.
